More than half of American adults have no will, no power of attorney and no health care directive. Many believe they do not have enough to protect. They do: a home, a car, their children's care, and their family's peace.
When disagreements come, a small claim can cost $1,000 or more per side to arbitrate the traditional way. Most people give up instead.
Equal justice should not depend on what you can afford. That idea is older than the country, and it still needs building.
How a Resolve case works
- Both sides agree to use heyamicus. Either in a contract ahead of time or after a disagreement starts.
- Each side uploads their documents. Contracts, estimates, photos, messages and receipts.
- You confirm the summary. Claude organizes the case and both sides check that it understood them correctly.
- A human arbitrator decides. They review the AI's draft, change what needs changing, and sign the award.
- You see the reasoning. Every decision explains why, and tells you exactly what the AI did and what the arbitrator decided.
The Access Fund
Fees are waived for people with lower incomes, paid for by community sponsors such as credit unions, employers and foundations. We expect about one in five people in a dispute to qualify.
